Hales Group are supporting their client in the search for an experienced CNC Turner to join their expanding team. Following continued growth, they are now looking to increase their machining capacity.
Hours: 38.5 per week - Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm & Friday: 8:30am – 3:00pm
Overtime: Regular overtime available (optional)
Materials: Metals & Plastics
Holiday: 4 weeks annual leave + bank holidays (rising to 5 weeks after 5 years' service)

Overview: An expanding manufacturing team is looking for a skilled Machinist to support ongoing growth. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on machining experience, ideally with HAAS machinery, and the ability to support, guide, or train others when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC and manual machining equipment (preferably HAAS-based systems).
- Manufacture components in both metals and plastics.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and quality across all machining tasks.
- Support and train less experienced team members where needed.
- Work effectively as part of a growing, supportive production team.
- Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times.
Candidate Attributes:
- Strong machining experience (CNC and/or manual).
- Ideally trained or familiar with HAAS controls.
- Ability to work independently and assist in training others.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Experience with both metals and plastics is preferred.
