Job Title: Compounding Packing Operative Location: Thetford Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM Salary: £13.98 per hour Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Compounding Packing Operative to join a dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tasks related to the compounding and packing of pharmaceutical products in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the production of life-saving medications while maintaining a high standard of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Compounding: Prepare and mix pharmaceutical ingredients following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the correct formulation and quality of products. Packing: Accurately pack finished pharmaceutical products into appropriate packaging, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and sealed for distribution. Quality Control: Conduct routine checks to ensure products meet quality standards and report any discrepancies to supervisors. Inventory Management: Ensure stock levels of materials are maintained and report any shortages or issues with inventory. Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, company policies, and regulatory standards, including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and electronic records related to production batches, quality checks, and material usage. Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or similar regulated environment is an advantage but not essential. Skills: Strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to follow precise instructions. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate loads. Compliance Knowledge: Understanding or willingness to learn GMP standards and safety regulations. Teamwork: Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts as required and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
