We are currently assisting our client with the recruitment of a MIG Welder. You will be responsible for welding tasks using materials such as steel, aluminium, and stainless steel. The successful candidate will be working within a busy engineering department; previous MIG experience or knowledge is preferable. Working hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, and overtime is available.
Daily Duties:
- Performing MIG welding on various materials
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Setting up and adjusting welding equipment
- Inspecting and repairing welded structures
- Maintaining equipment and following safety protocols
Ideal candidate:
- MIG Welding experience or knowledge is ideal
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings preferred
- Knowledge of welding equipment and safety standards preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
