We are currently assisting our client with the recruitment of a MIG Welder. You will be responsible for welding tasks using materials such as steel, aluminium, and stainless steel. The successful candidate will be working within a busy engineering department; previous MIG experience or knowledge is preferable. Working hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, and overtime is available.

Daily Duties:

  • Performing MIG welding on various materials
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Setting up and adjusting welding equipment
  • Inspecting and repairing welded structures
  • Maintaining equipment and following safety protocols

Ideal candidate:

  • MIG Welding experience or knowledge is ideal
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings preferred
  • Knowledge of welding equipment and safety standards preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
