Hales Group are recruiting for a Quality Control Technician to join a well-established manufacturing business in Lowestoft.
This is a hands-on role that combines quality inspection, testing, sample preparation, data recording, and compliance activities. Working as part of an established quality team, you'll play an important role in ensuring materials and products meet required quality standards.
Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates from manufacturing, production, quality, inspection, laboratory, or similar environments.
Key responsibilities
- Assess incoming materials against agreed specifications
- Prepare and process samples for testing and evaluation
- Carry out visual and physical quality inspections
- Accurately record, interpret, and report findings
- Use IT systems to record data
- Support quality assurance and compliance activities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Liaise with internal departments regarding quality findings
- Follow site procedures relating to health, safety, and quality standards
- Manage workload effectively while working independently
