We are recruiting for a Test Technician to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business based in Letchworth Garden City. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest or background in electronics who is looking to develop their technical skills within a hands-on production and engineering environment. You will work closely with both the Production and Engineering teams, supporting the testing and quality of a range of electronic products. Full training will be provided, with opportunities to develop your skills, gain further qualifications and progress within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out PCB-level and complete system testing on a variety of electronic products.
- Test power-related equipment including AC/DC and DC/DC products, UPS systems and battery management products.
- Ensure testing is completed accurately and in line with required quality standards and work instructions.
- Take responsibility for the calibration and upkeep of company test equipment.
- Assist the Engineering team with design verification and product testing.
- Identify and report any faults or issues found during the testing process.
- Work closely with Production and Engineering colleagues to ensure products are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Maintain a safe, organised and quality-focused working environment.
