We are looking for a dedicated Care Coordinator to join our team in East Riding, based at our Hull office. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where you’ll help shape care delivery, support staff and make a real difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage new service user referrals from social workers and private clients.
- Allocate Care Workers to Service Users, ensuring effective rota planning and workload balance.
- Answer and monitor incoming calls and provide support to care staff and supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of Service Users and Care Workers, including updates for hospital/respite stays.
- Coordinate cover for holidays, sickness, and emergency calls.
- Process weekly timesheets and payroll amendments.
- Conduct reference checks and ensure DBS/safeguarding compliance before employment.
- Support recruitment and training efforts in collaboration with the Branch Recruiter and Trainer.
- Ensure office policies, procedures, and systems are followed.
- Deliver care and participate in on-call duties when required.
The ideal Care Coordinator must have:
- Experience in rostering/scheduling within domiciliary care (preferred).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong logistical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of domiciliary care provision.
- A QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Management or willingness to work towards it.
- Hands-on experience in domiciliary care delivery.
