Our client is expanding their Sales Department and looking for a confident, organised and ambitious Junior Sales Executive to join their team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone eager to grow, develop, and build a long-term career in sales. Full training and ongoing support are all provided.
You will be joining with an already established customer base, meaning you can focus on nurturing strong relationships from day one. The bulk of this role is Account Management, supported by some sales activity to further enhance and grow your customer portfolio. As a key part of the Sales team, you will help keep daily operations running smoothly while delivering an excellent service to customers across the UK and overseas.
Your duties will include:
- Managing daily sales communications and responding to enquiries promptly and professionally
- Supporting daily auction activity, processing completed sales, and updating order statuses
- Maintaining accurate stock records and preparing customer-ready Excel reports
- Verifying customer payments and ensuring orders follow internal processes
- Building strong relationships with existing customers via phone, email and messaging platforms
- Helping identify and engage potential new customers
- Coordinating logistics by liaising with transport providers and preparing documentation
- Assisting with stock management, stock takes and reconciliation
- Supporting pricing updates and sales listings
- Working closely with Finance, Production, Purchasing and Advertising teams
- Representing the business at industry events and occasional overseas trade shows
We’re looking for someone with:
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confidence to take responsibility after training
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
