Internal Sales Coordinator – Industrial Environment

Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Full-time, 40 hours per week between 7am -8am start and 4pm-5pm finish

We\’re looking for someone who\’s ready to grow within a business, this is an office-based role but also happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved across different areas, including the trade counter and workshop.

About the Role
This is a varied and engaging position that combines customer service, internal sales support, and hands-on product involvement. You\’ll be based in the sales office but will also spend time in the workshop and on the trade counter, learning about the products and services we offer so you can speak confidently with customers and support the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
Processing orders and preparing quotations
Supporting the external sales team with internal coordination
Assisting customers at the trade counter when needed
Visiting customer sites to support industrial vending requirements (VMI)
Learning to build and test welding machines and hire sets (full training provided)

A confident communicator with good PC skills
Someone proactive, driven, and eager to learn
A team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
Comfortable working in both office and xiskglj workshop environments
A valid UK driving licence
Interest in the metalworking or industrial sector is a bonus, but not essential
