Are you practical, hands-on, and looking to grow with a thriving business? We’re hiring a Fire Door Inspector to join our growing team. Whether you’re experienced in fire door inspections or have a background in carpentry, DIY, or general handy work, we want to hear from you!

The Role: You’ll be responsible for inspecting fire doors across sites in East Anglia and occasionally throughout the UK, ensuring compliance with current fire safety regulations. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Conducting thorough fire door inspections on-site
  • Quoting for any required remedial work
  • Liaising with the technical team to schedule fitters and technicians
  • Assisting with installations in the early stages of training
  • Providing excellent customer service during site visits
  • Staying away from home occasionally (all expenses covered)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ideally, some experience in fire door inspections (preferred, not essential)
  • Carpentry, DIY, or handy person experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight
  • Full UK driving licence
