We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing and well-established business based in Bury St Edmunds. They are seeking an organised and proactive individual to support day-to-day operations, customer communication, scheduling, and administration. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to become a key part of a busy team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects, schedules, and operational activities to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage enquiries and project requirements
  • Arrange deliveries, bookings and logistics as required
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and CRM systems
  • Prepare and manage operational documentation and reports
  • Support stock control, ordering, and resource planning activities
  • Manage shared inboxes and provide timely responses to enquiries
  • Raise quotations and provide after-sales support where required
  • Assist with compliance, quality, and health & safety administration/processes
  • Handle manufacturer claims and all related documentation
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider operations team
  • Participate in internal / external meetings as requested

Requirements

  • Previous experience within administration, operations support, coordination, or customer service
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive and able to work independently using initiative
  • Comfortable working with systems, databases, and Microsoft Office packages
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Reliable, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a busy and supportive environment
