Hales Group are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Beccles for a reliable and safety-conscious Dustcart Driver to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV driver looking to work within the waste management sector, supporting the efficient collection and transportation of waste materials across the local area.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate dustcart and refuse collection vehicles in accordance with road traffic legislation and company procedures.
- Complete scheduled waste and recycling collection routes efficiently and professionally.
- Transport waste materials safely to designated disposal and recycling facilities.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure all paperwork, vehicle checks, and route documentation are completed accurately.
- Support with loading duties when required.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure company standards are met.
To be considered for the role you will need:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience driving HGV or refuse collection.
Location: Beccles, Suffolk
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary Ongoing
