On behalf of our client based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, we are searching for a Sales and Logistics Co-ordinator to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a Logistics Co-ordinator position, and will be able to demonstrate quick learning to the systems used. Due to the location and nature of this role, a driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- To be the main internal contact point for the business – for both customers and staff
- Dealing with customer contact, e.g., managing quotation/order
- Organising and tracking customer returns, and maintaining a high standard of customer service
- Use of multiple systems and different processes:
- Sage 200 maintain digital day to day business
- Microsoft Office package, including Outlook for the use of email
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Have a confident and friendly telephone manner
- Previous experience within logistics - desirable
- Confident in use of PC to communicate internally and externally
- Previous experience in the use of Sage 200 and Odoo - advantageous
