Job Description
Logistics AdministratorEye, SuffolkPay is dependent on experience 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to FridayTemporary to permanent opportunity We are currently seeking a Logistics Administrator to join our client's team on a temporary to permanent basis. Duties include:
- Providing general administrative support to the office and transport teams
- Responding to customer and transport-related enquiries via phone and email professionally
- Processing and tracking orders accurately using internal systems
- Coordinating transport schedules, route planning, and shipment tracking
- Liaising with couriers, haulage companies, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics
- Maintaining and updating delivery and collection records using Excel
- Ensuring accurate documentation and organised filing of transport records
- Resolving delivery issues in collaboration with relevant departments
What we're looking for:Ideally, you'll bring a mix of the following skills and experience:
- Strong administrative skills with experience in transport or logistics
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- A confident and friendly approach to customer service
- Some knowledge of transport/logistics (preferred)
