We’re recruiting for voluntary roles as Trustees and a Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees. Whether you’re an experienced Trustee or wanting to take your first step at Board level we would love to talk to you. We’re particularly looking for people who have one or more of the following skills:
- Business and Social Enterprise
- Legal
As a trustee you will get:
- Induction, training and reimbursement of expenses
- Opportunities to share your skills and give back to your local community
- Opportunities to make strategic decisions and learn new skills
The expected time commitment is around 4 hours a month covering formal and informal meetings, events and reading time.

We are looking for a volunteer to support our ladies’ group. You would help our ladies group continue to be a place for people to make new friends and reduce isolation. The role will involve planning and running activities, chatting to attendees, making drinks and clearing up.
The skills you’ll need:
- A suitable volunteer would need to be friendly, easy to talk to and be able to support attendees.
Directions – public transport: 5-minute walk from Shipley train station.
Schedule – ongoing every Friday 1-3pm. Minimum age to apply – 18 yrs.

We are looking for a volunteer to support with marketing. This could include creating social media posts, designing engaging reports or making posters for events. This role would take place at HALE during office hours; we are flexible to discuss convenient days and times. This would be a great role for someone studying marketing or a similar course to gain experience.

- We’re looking for a creative person with marketing skills.
