The Vice President of Technology, Corporate Functions will lead the technology strategy and execution for corporate functions including Finance, HR, Business Services and Sustainability. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of technology trends and their impact on corporate functions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technology transformations and driving innovation in a corporate environment.
This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career, these responsibilities include:
- Build, develop and execute the technology strategy for corporate functions in alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Collaborate and build relationships with senior leaders in Finance, HR, Business Services and Sustainability to understand their technology needs and deliver solutions that drive business value.
- Lead and manage a team of technology professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Oversee the implementation of technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of corporate functions.
- Ensure the security and compliance of technology systems and data within corporate functions.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality technology services.
- Monitor and report on the performance of technology systems and initiatives, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on corporate functions.
- Proven experience in leading technology transformations and driving innovation.
- Strong understanding of technology trends and their impact on corporate functions.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Experience with a breadth of technologies including ERP (ideally SAP/S4 Hana), Workday, cloud computing, data and analytics, cybersecurity, and other relevant technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Experience managing budgets and financial planning for technology initiatives.
- Experience in a similar role within a global, large, complex organisation.
- Professional certifications in project management, cybersecurity, or other relevant areas.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
