About the role

The Digital and Tech Solution Owner: PLAN TO FORECAST plays a critical role in ensuring Haleon’s Technology Platforms enable our enterprise processes to be designed, governed, and operated in a consistent, scalable, and future fit way. The Solution Owner is the enterprise-wide technology enabler of an end to end (E2E) global business process and is responsible for its functional design, delivery, service operation and continuous improvement across all functions and markets.

This role sits at the centre of Haleon’s transformation — ensuring our processes evolve from legacy, fragmented ways of working into integrated, standardised, and digitally enabled ways of working unlock capacity across the organization, align to strategy, maintain compliance, and operational excellence in support of the growth agenda.

The Solution Owner acts as an informed decision-maker for the enterprise, enabling Business Process Owners to break down functional silos and ensuring technology choices are made for the good of the whole organisation. Solution Owners safeguard Haleon’s Technology Principles of adoption of Market Standard capabilities, elimination of custom technology solutions, enabling speed to value and speed to market which are essential to delivering scalable, digital, globally aligned operations for the future.

Role Responsibilities

  • PLAN TO FORECAST
  • SAP S/4 HANA, SAP IBP and Legacy SAP ECC and SAP APO based functional expertise in:
    • Demand Planning
    • Supply Planning
    • Sales and Operational Planning
    • Production Planning
  • End-to-End Solution Ownership
    • Own the global functional solution, technical standards, delivery and operations governance, and technical documentation for the E2E ERP process.
    • Define and maintain global solution blueprints, technical decision rights, IT controls, and IT policies.
    • Ensure standardization and harmonization of ERP solutions across markets and functions.
  • Solution Design & Transformation Leadership
    • Enable business process design / continuous improvement activities across all phases of Enterprise Transformation (Design, Build, Test, Deployment, Sustain).
    • Input into the design authority for the process.
    • Act as the guardian of the global template during deployment waves and ensure alignment with S/4HANA design principles.
    • Partner with Business Process Owners and SMEs, Data, and other Solution owners to ensure integrated, coherent designs.
  • Operate Existing ERP Solutions
    • Deliver ongoing BAU changes to the legacy SAP ECC / APO based landscape.
    • Deliver functional expertise to address ECC operational critical issues.
    • Accountable for Legacy SAP legacy systems lifecycle management – e.g. functional upgrades, legal / tax changes, change related IT controls etc.
  • Governance & Decision-Making
    • Resolve cross-functional process issues, conflicts, and dependencies.
    • Minimise deviations to global standards and ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
    • Define process KPIs, controls, and continuous improvement mechanisms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Business Process Owners, Process Experts, Local Process Experts, and Functional Leaders to embed and sustain process changes.
    • Ensure effective integration across interconnected processes (e.g., L2C, S2P, R2D).
    • Collaborate closely with Data, Compliance Cyber Security, Architecture, Testing, and Change teams.
  • Operations, Continuous Improvement & Innovation
    • Ensure business process availability to the business via closely working with Tech Support teams and leaning in with SAP functional expertise when needed.
    • Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for improvement, simplification, automation, and digitisation.
    • Ensure the ERP applications continue to evolve to support Haleon’s long-term strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to align process with business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proven SAP ERP delivery experience in the areas of Supply Chain Planning.
  • Enterprise-first mindset; makes decisions for the good of the whole organisation.
  • High levels of influence, credibility, and presence with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong judgement and ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
  • Collaborative and able to align diverse groups behind a shared direction.
  • Comfortable operating in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving requirements.
  • Understanding how process design connects to data, systems, controls, and integration points.
  • Able to work effectively with Business Process Owners and Senior Business Leaders to ensure alignment and feasibility.
  • Strong communicator with clarity, influence, and empathy.
  • Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities.
