About the Role
The Business Process Owner: CASH TO TAX plays a critical role in ensuring Haleon's enterprise processes are designed, governed, and operated in a consistent, scalable, and future fit way. The BPO is the enterprise-wide owner of an end to end (E2E) global business process and is responsible for its design, governance, performance, continuous improvement, and adoption across all functions and markets. This role sits at the centre of Haleon's transformation — ensuring our processes evolve from legacy, fragmented ways of working into integrated, standardised, and digitally enabled ways of working unlock capacity across the organization, align to strategy, maintain compliance, and operational excellence in support of the growth agenda. The BPO acts as an informed decision-maker for the enterprise, breaking down functional silos and ensuring process choices are made for the good of the whole organisation. BPOs safeguard Haleon's process excellence and are essential to delivering scalable, digital, globally aligned operations for the future.

- Process expertise in Corporate income tax, Withholding & other taxes, Indirect tax, Transfer pricing, Tax authority, Customs and Global Trade, Tax reporting, Employment Tax.
Key Responsibilities: Business Process Owner
- End-to-End Process Ownership: Own the global design, standards, governance, and documentation for the E2E process. Define and maintain global process maps, decision rights, controls, and policies. Ensure process consistency, quality, and compliance across markets and functions.
- Process Design & Transformation Leadership: Lead process design / continuous improvement activities across all phases of Enterprise Transformation (Design, Build, Test, Deployment, Sustain). Serve as the design authority for the process. Act as the guardian of the global template during deployment waves and ensure alignment with S/4HANA design principles. Partner with Technology, Data, and other process owners to ensure integrated, coherent designs.
- Governance & Decision-Making: Resolve cross-functional process issues, conflicts, and dependencies. Minimise deviations to global standards and ensure adherence to governance frameworks. Define process KPIs, controls, and continuous improvement mechanisms.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Business Process Sponsors, Process Experts, Local Process Experts, and Functional Leaders to embed and sustain process changes. Ensure effective integration across interconnected processes (e.g., L2C S2P R2D). Collaborate closely with Data, Digital & Tech, Architecture, Testing, and Change teams.
- Change Leadership & Adoption: Lead global change impact assessments for the process. Define training, communication, and readiness needs. Champion simplification, standardisation, and a "One Haleon" approach to process adoption.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for improvement, simplification, automation, and digitisation. Use data and insights to refine and enhance the process in BAU. Ensure the process continues to evolve to support Haleon's long-term strategy.
