Finance Reporting and Analytics Business Process Expert
This role supports the Enterprise Transformation Programme by partnering with Business Process Owners (BPO) and functional teams to design, govern, and continuously improve business processes, with a focus on finance reporting and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape, measure, and continuously improve process elements to deliver business value.
- Partner with the BPO and other BPEs to manage current processes, define the future state vision, and create a roadmap for transition.
- Drive transition from current to future state through disciplined execution, governance, and change delivery.
- Support the BPO in maximizing value delivery via performance management, adoption oversight, and continuous improvement activities.
- Lead workshop facilitation to gather input, refine process designs, and socialize recommendations.
- Document “to be” processes and evaluate “as is” processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and duplication.
- Align designs with programme timelines, milestones, and interdependent programmes, ensuring coordination across functional areas.
- Support functional leaders in evaluating preparedness for programme delivery and propose solutions for any gaps.
- Collaborate with the business change team to define and deliver interventions that support successful adoption.
- Create documentation for new processes and partner with Training & Adoption to develop training/upskilling.
- Partner with the Business Continuity Manager to establish and manage interim operating states, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with operational teams to design and implement interim processes, and ensure smooth transition to permanent processes.
- Foster effective stakeholder relationships, communicate effectively, and champion the process vision.
- Ensure priorities are reflected in programme decision‑making and feedback loops are effective.
- Apply analytical, process, systems, governance, and project management expertise to identify opportunities and drive change.
- Demonstrate leadership by inspiring, motivating, and building strong relationships across the organisation.
- Required Experience and Skills
- 10+ years in complex, global organisations, ideally within Consumer Health or FMCG sectors.
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience with finance reporting & analytics and modern data technologies, including SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and emerging AI trends.
- Strong knowledge of Haleon data sources, structures, and flows to transform data into management insights.
- Experience designing upstream reporting and analytics for S/4HANA implementations.
- Ability to integrate analytics platforms, develop intuitive user interfaces, and standardise KPIs.
- Understanding of data attributes, hierarchies, data governance frameworks, and data management principles.
- S/4HANA experience is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and process focus, with the ability to analyse complex processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Effective governance, evaluation of KPIs, SLAs, and adherence to policies and frameworks.
- Project management skills to plan, manage, and execute process improvement initiatives.
- Understanding of controls, compliance, risk management, and the business control environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and change‑management capabilities.
