About the role

The learning designer will work closely with the Global Process Owner team and SMEs to design and deploy an engaging learning programme to drive capability in the new Integrated Business Planning process and SAP-Advanced Planning System for end-users, ensuring technical competency in the daily activities. The post holder will design learning interventions with measurable outcomes that align with the Haleon learning design principles.

Key responsibilities

  • Performance consultancy to interpret the needs of the business, SMEs and end-users to create effective and measurable learning solutions that drive capability and enhance job performance.
  • Completion of Learning Needs Analysis.
  • Create instructional learning assets using learning authoring software such as Articulate 360, and other digital tools such as video production.
  • Applying learner centred experience design, running focus groups, user testing and feedback.
  • Defining the learning deployment strategy and implementation plans.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • Significant experience working in a related field, with good knowledge of adult learning and learning science principles
  • Ability to work at pace, prioritising critical work and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Use of digital software such as Articulate 360.
  • Good written and verbal English.

Preferred

  • Experience of working with a diverse audience to design solutions that work across regions, cultures, roles and levels.
  • Performance metrics design and dashboarding.
  • Working knowledge of Haleon learning design principles.
  • Communication plans.
