About the role
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) for the Global Finance Function at Haleon supports the HR agenda and initiatives to align with the business strategy. This HR partnering role has a high focus on Data and Analytics, leveraging data driven insights to develop targeted interventions. Supporting and collaborating with leaders, you will play a highly valuable and impactful role in the delivery of our People strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Productivity & Organisation Effectiveness: Support the delivery of continued business transformation projects for the function. Enhance the data literacy and accuracy of data sources for the Finance function, including but not limited to Org Vue and Workday, to enable informed decision-making and facilitate strategic workforce planning. Analyse HR data to measure the impact of change initiatives and identify areas for improvement. Partner with the Finance Partners for the subfunctions for monthly reporting and forecasting to ensure robust headcount management. Navigate and collaborate with the matrix reporting lines of the Finance function to ensure effective collaboration and engagement through all initiatives. Partner with country HR teams and our HR PMO to co-ordinate global change across different markets.
- Talent, Succession Planning & Diversity: Support initiatives to foster a workplace environment that values and celebrates diversity at all levels and lead on some DE&I initiatives. Assist in talent and succession planning initiatives to strengthen the talent pool. Collaborate with leaders and the recruitment team to deliver excellence in hiring decisions.
- Purpose & Performance Culture: Embed a high-performance culture that aligns with strategic goals and fosters value creation. Coach managers and support teams to lead inclusively, enabling individuals and teams to bring their best and perform highly.
- General HR Support: Assist with employee relations issues to maintain a positive workplace environment. Partner with country HR teams, HR operations, COE and HR PMO to successfully co-ordinate key people processes and events.
Qualifications and skills
- Proven experience in a HR Business Partner role or similar, demonstrating an understanding of the full employee life cycle and ability to work with autonomy on the HR agenda.
- A solid understanding of key HR processes and UK employment environment.
- Strong attention to detail and proven experience of planning, tracking and reporting of project activity.
- Good analytical skills, having used insights from HR data to diagnose trends and provide actionable insights.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, recognizing the level of senior stakeholder interaction within the role.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, proven confidence to guide, collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent judgement, leveraging critical thinking and confident working with ambiguity.
- Some experience working across multiple countries, geographies and cultures is preferable in light of this role supporting leaders and teams globally.
