About the role

At Haleon, our ambition is to be industry leading in health & wellbeing experiences to enable a healthier employee population, helping employees thrive, and making health and well-being central to the employee experience. This role is critical in shaping and delivering this ambition. The successful applicant will set the standards for health and wellbeing within the organization, developing and implementing strategies, policies, and practices that promote health and wellbeing outcomes. This includes working with senior leadership to foster a positive, inclusive culture that supports health and wellbeing, and raising awareness through educational materials and campaigns. The Global Head of Health & Wellbeing will report directly to the Global Head of Reward and be part of the Reward Leadership Team. The role will collaborate closely with the Global Head of Benefits to shape and deliver healthcare offerings for employees and their families via our benefit providers. The role will lead a team of four, including three regional Occupational Health Physicians and one Global Health & Wellbeing Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global enterprise strategy for Health & Wellbeing and create a 2-3 year roadmap to embed health & wellbeing at the core of the employee experience.
  • Establish clear standards for Health & Wellbeing and integrate them into relevant policies and practices.
  • Utilize data to analyze health trends among employees and work with the Global Benefits team to optimize healthcare benefits, identifying improvement areas.
  • Manage Regional Occupational Health leaders to ensure Occupational Health services meet employee needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to promote a positive, inclusive culture that enhances workforce wellbeing.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • Qualified doctor with extensive experience in a corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful Health & Wellbeing programs.
  • Ability to develop and execute enterprise-level strategic priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience working with individuals and teams.
  • Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Result-oriented with a history of achieving results through engaged teams.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of Benefit programs is advantageous.
