About the role

This role is critical in helping to shape and deliver on this ambition.
The successful applicant will set the standards for health and wellbeing within the organisation, developing and implementing strategies and organisational policies and practices that promote health and wellbeing outcomes. This will include working with the senior leadership to promote a positive and inclusive culture that supports health and wellbeing, while also raising awareness of key health and wellbeing topics through educational materials and relevant campaigns.
The Global Head of Health & Wellbeing will report directly to the Global Head of Reward and be part of the Reward Leadership Team. The role will work closely with the Global Head of Benefits in order to shape and deliver the best healthcare offering for employees and their families via our benefit providers.
The role will lead a team of four, including 3 regional Occupational Health Physicians, and 1 Global Health & Wellbeing project manager.
Key responsibilities

Develop and implement a global enterprise strategy for Health & Wellbeing and map out a Health & Wellbeing roadmap for the next 2-3 years, that will ensure Health & Wellbeing is at the heart of the employee experience.

Develop clear standards for Health & Wellbeing and embed these within relevant Haleon policies and practices.

Use data to understand health trends within our employee population, and work with the Global Benefits team to ensure effectiveness of our healthcare benefits, identifying areas for improvement.

Manage Regional Occupational Health leaders, ensuring that Occupational Health provision in Haleon is fit for purpose and delivers on the needs of all employees.

Collaborate with senior leadership to promote a positive and inclusive culture which improves the wellbeing of the workforce.
Qualifications and skills
Essential
-
Qualified doctor with extensive experience of working in a corporate environment

A demonstrable track record delivering Health & Wellbeing programmes that deliver business impact

Ability to develop and implement enterprise level strategic priorities

Strong leadership skills, with an ability to work with and through individuals and teams

Experience of stakeholder management at senior levels

Result oriented with a track record of delivering results through engaged teams

High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Some knowledge of Benefit programmes would be an advantage
