Key Responsibilities
- Deliver world‑class events through traditional face‑to‑face engagement as well as virtual forums, including delivery of GB OTC and OH annual events (minimum 4 per annum), Ireland OH events (minimum 2 per annum), and GB & Ireland digital events (webinars & podcasts).
- Support the GBI Expert Marketing Lead in building Expert KOL relationships and developing marketing plans with key associations and KOLs to build the trust and credibility of Haleon.
- Coordinate and lead complex matrix teams made up of local, BU/global, medical and marketing agencies.
- Plan, coordinate and manage events from design through to delivery and after‑action review.
- Leverage the latest technology and audience engagement to drive impact within the industry.
- Manage the event budget and it’s management in line with expectations.
- Work with procurement on event agency selection to maximise execution & impact within budget.
- Work closely with Expert category colleagues and internal functional representatives to drive content through Haleon Health Partner and Haleon Social Media Channels.
- Share in wider forums (GBI Total Business/BU/Global) on best practices for event experiences and long‑term partnership plans with KOLs and associations.
- Understand internal Healthcare compliance restrictions (ABAC etc) and champion best practice.
- Set annual performance metrics and metrics for each individual event focusing on driving quality engagements.
- Ensure successful achievement of objectives and continuous improvement.
- Work to drive overall trust metrics of Haleon and its brands through annual tracking survey.
- Look at Haleon’s performance vs competitors.
- Support the development of campaign/event specific KPIs / lead / lag indicators for key communications channels – conferences, journals, digital including social media.
