About The Role
The External Communications Team is accountable for all earned content relating to our London listing, global presence and our strategic progress. The team manages all media engagement and works with our most senior executives and international colleagues to tell the Haleon story globally. Team members are creative, energetic and keen to embrace new communications practices to tell our stories. This position will work alongside the rest of the external communications team to support on the delivery of all financial communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with a Senior Corporate Communications Manager to drive delivery of our corporate communications agenda internationally, including our approach to being a Responsible Business.

  • Work with peers to collaborate across content areas (including social media).

  • Be a core member of the broader Global Communications Team, which includes working closely with our digital content team and internal communications team.

  • Assist in supporting Corporate Affairs colleagues around the world with media opportunities and executive briefing documents, ensuring alignment with group corporate messaging.

  • Support team members in planning and delivering media visits to key strategic markets for journalists from top-tier global outlets.

  • Be an accessible and trusted point of contact for core business and trade media.

Qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Experienced corporate communications professional in listed businesses, ideally in the UK.

  • Experience bringing financial and corporate stories to life through a consumer lens.

  • Excellent writing skills – including speechwriting – and a ‘can do’ attitude.

  • Creative and collaborative and experience working across global teams and in a complex matrix.

  • Group media relations; established media handling skills and a global media network.

  • Experience working with senior leaders and able to build trusted relationships

  • Ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of consumer and/or health industries.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.

  • Highly organised with great attention to detail.

  • Team player with a proven ability to work with cross-functional and multi-stakeholder teams.
