About The Role – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

The Global Expert Marketing Manager role, within the Expert Marketing team, is part the Oral Health category. Driving Expert Strategy as a key lever within marketing mix, defining a clear strategy, including content direction and creation, and aligning execution to expert and commercial requirements. You will work across Expert teams within the business, as well as working with cross functional teams and relevant design markets, as well as connecting with Global Category teams to align Brand and Expert strategy

You will drive business performance against the defined strategic prioritisation/Brand, ensuring success for Oral Health brands (Sensodyne, Polident, Parodontax), delivering winning expert marketing strategies, success guides and hero content for activation and amplification by Business units/local market teams.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for creating global marketing initiatives to drive business growth with DHCPs, you will work on delivering the Oral Health Expert category vision and strategy, as well as delivering Brand strategy and connections for HCPs (strategy & projects). The HCP connections plan should deliver omni- channel content based on ERJ strategies, moments that matter and task maps, audience insight development & deployment. It should be aligned to the Global brand positioning and brand assets, whilst ensuring we understand our DHCPs needs and barriers to ensure strong healthcare professional engagement, field-force inspiration & training and exceptional market engagement.

Delivery of robust strategy and connection plan

  • For specific projects (DAC Category/Brand and/or Oral Health projects) – Develop and own the Expert Marketing vision and strategies as well as 3-year strategic business plan providing DHCPs trusted content, developed in relation with Medical/R & D teams to demonstrate our Trusted Science.

  • Through the creation and execution of globally deployable, superior, differentiated condition/brand propositions, or service and channel offerings, including working with key associations (if required)

Outstanding expert and digital connections

  • Stand-out creative ideas in the development of expert connections

  • Ensuring that there is an integrated expert mix that works across the ERJ/Moments that Matter

  • Development of hero content across the content omni channel ecosystem, contracting with design markets on halo content

  • Deep understanding of DHCPs to ensure that all expert touch points are optimised to enhance long term brand equity

Build relationships

  • Exceptional relationships with design markets and cross-functional teams to maximise audience understanding, drive the programme, problem solve.

  • Partner with the multi-category Expert team: External partnerships & Events, Channel Planning and Capability & Activation to deliver the broader portfolio agenda

  • Strong partnership with Global Category Brand team to deliver Expert strategy as part of RGM model

  • Maintain strong relationships with agencies to deliver best-in-class campaigns that strengthen brand equity and build brands that are first choice among DHCPs.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated strong brand building/marketing experience – brand positioning, brand architecture and general brand stewardship, with ability to lead complex projects within matrixed organisation

  • Track record of contributions to strategic planning process at category and/or brand level, driving brand growth/key metrics focus

  • Experienced in developing insights driven integrated content through traditional and digital channels, with keen interest to develop other types of digital media channels, e.g. social media, influencer marketing.

  • Deep understanding of media and digital space and data insights

  • Outstanding influencing, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with Regional / local teams, notably Expert and medical teams

  • Understanding of Expert audience/channels (preferable)
