Join our Haleon Global Electrical Engineering Team based in London for a 12-month industrial placement starting in July 2026.

As an Industrial Placement student on our Global Electrical Engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across Haleon sites worldwide, focusing on safety, compliance, and innovation. You’ll contribute to key projects that shape the future of our engineering practices and support our global strategic initiatives.

As an Electrical Engineering placement student, you’ll be involved in diverse aspects of engineering, helping you build a broad skill set throughout your placement.

Throughout your placement, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Work with global teams: Collaborate with teams from our Quality Supply Chain (QSC) sites worldwide to identify and assess engineering risks.
  • Develop risk management practices: Help create and document essential risk management processes and procedures.
  • Support sustainability goals: Help us reach our sustainability targets through your work on key projects.
  • Support global strategy: Play a key role in implementing our global engineering strategy across multiple locations.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams: Join team meetings and collaborate across functions to ensure risk management is integrated into everything we do.
  • Drive innovation: Contribute to our efforts to enhance how we use technology to manage engineering risks.
  • Analyse data: Perform data analysis and create reports to track progress and assess the effectiveness of our risk management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with different teams and stakeholders across the business to ensure a cohesive approach to problem-solving.
  • Expand your knowledge: Gain experience in fields such as process safety, automation, engineering systems, and energy management.

Education Requirements

  • We welcome applicants currently studying for a degree in Electrical Engineering who are creative problem-solvers and enjoy collaborating with global teams.
  • If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree, you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university.

Role Start Date: July 2026

Application Process

The application process has a total of up to 4 stages:

  • Application – information will be required regarding your education and Right to Work.
  • Online Assessment – you will be asked to complete a behaviour-based online assessment/interview.
  • One-Way Video Interview – if selected you receive a link to complete an online interview focusing on your motivation for joining Haleon and what transferable skills you will bring to the role. This will be screened by the Early Talent Team.
  • Interview – if selected you will be invited to attend a virtual interview; the interview will consist of a competency-based interview and may include a case study/technical exercise.
  • Offer – candidates will receive an outcome within 2 weeks following interview.

Interviews will be held in November/December 2025
