About the Role
At Haleon, Digital & Technology is a strategic partner to Finance, helping shape how technology, data and digital capabilities enable effective financial management, regulatory compliance and business performance. We are seeking a senior technology leader who can build trusted relationships with Finance stakeholders and translate complex business needs into a clear, forward-looking technology strategy. The successful candidate will represent Digital & Technology, bring credible technology thinking to senior Finance conversations and challenge constructively to ensure that business priorities are addressed through secure, scalable and sustainable solutions. The role will partner with Financial Reporting, Tax, Transfer Pricing, Audit, Risk and Compliance teams. It requires sufficient Finance understanding to identify underlying needs, pain points and control requirements, combined with the technology leadership and strategic judgement needed to shape integrated solutions across processes, data, platforms and delivery teams. Acting as the trusted technology partner and strategic integrator, the role will connect business ambition with enterprise technology capability, ensuring that individual initiatives form part of a coherent product strategy and roadmap rather than becoming isolated tactical solutions. Working across a complex global environment, you will own the long-range product strategy and roadmap, providing leadership and governance across initiatives that involve multiple systems, teams, vendors and regulatory requirements. You will ensure that regulatory intent is translated into integrated technology solutions that support compliance while delivering business value. This role is suited to a senior product management, finance technology leader or transformation professional who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex business challenges and can effectively align stakeholders across a highly matrixed global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning the end-to-end view of regulatory and compliance-related technology change across Financial Reporting, Tax, Transfer Pricing, Risk and Audit functions.
- Translate Finance priorities into a coherent technology product strategy, roadmap and investment case.
- Develop and maintain the long-term digital product strategy, roadmap and annual execution plan.
- Acting as the key integrator across Finance, Tax, Legal and Technology teams to ensure all components of change are aligned and collectively deliver the intended business outcomes.
- Create shared ownership between Finance and Technology, with clear decisions, outcomes, dependencies and accountabilities, ensuring individual workstreams and system changes combine into a coherent, compliant and audit-ready solution.
- Identifying and managing dependencies, overlaps and gaps across processes, data, controls and reporting.
- Ensuring technology solutions are designed with an enterprise-wide perspective and not as isolated local implementations.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree and/or professional finance qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
- Significant experience in Digital Product Management, Finance Technology, Regulatory Change, Finance Transformation or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of Finance business processes and controls.
- Experience working within Finance functions and partnering with business stakeholders on complex transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end technology solutions involving multiple teams, platforms and stakeholders.
- Strong financial analysis, forecasting, strategic planning and decision-making capability.
- Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to connect immediate business needs to longer-term product, platform, data and architecture consideration.
Desirable
- Strong analytical background with experience using data to support business decisions and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with global teams and stakeholder groups across multiple markets.
- Knowledge of ERP platforms and finance technology landscapes supporting compliance and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex information from multiple sources.
- Experience supporting regulatory change, governance, risk and audit programmes.
