Responsibilities

  • Deliver brand sales, share and profit.
  • Lead the Shopper Marketing function, guiding the team to develop winning shopper strategies for each portfolio and brand that leverage shopper insight and align with retailer needs.
  • Develop the shopper activation plan on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to ensure a winning and executable plan across customers and channels.
  • Create powerful relationships with the Sales Leadership team, Controllers and key Retail Customers to understand retailer needs and enable more impactful shopper solutions and activations.
  • Lead the dialogue with global Category teams to develop fit‑for‑purpose assets and shopper toolkits, then deploy those toolkits within GB to create high‑impact brand presence at shopper touchpoints.
  • Agree on shopper insight needs/gaps and work with teams and the SSL to enrich GB insight and understanding.
  • Lead the shopper agenda through the annual commercial planning process to ensure the shopper voice is at the heart of brand and customer plans.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for the external third‑party merchandising force developing the annual merchandising key priorities.
  • Evaluate and benchmark shopper retailer activation internally and externally to ensure effective spending and continuous ROI improvement.
  • Build shopper marketing skills and capability, ensuring a strong talent bench strength.
  • Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10 years of experience in sales, category, shopper or marketing roles, managing a portfolio of brands across a variety of trade channels.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong people agility to navigate through internal and external matrixes, interacting and influencing at a variety of levels.
  • Experience leading a team.
