Global Reporting Optimisation Lead is a CBIA leadership position within the Business Intelligence Team. The role is responsible for ensuring the organization is equipped with accurate and harmonised market and panel data across the enterprise, driving next generation performance reporting and analytics. The function works cross functionally with markets, business units, and enterprise functions to address complex data challenges and develop innovative solutions in a fast evolving data and analytics environment, including AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Harmonisation and Integration: Lead the development, management and enterprise adoption of a harmonised data lake, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to operationalise and scale data integration platforms.
  • Development/Implementation of the reporting strategy: Develop new reporting solutions to ensure dissemination of insights across the business at all levels, including new data sources to improve diagnostics and analysis, advanced data management and visualisation capabilities, and optimisation of team resources and processes. Collaborate with cross functional data, business and commercial stakeholders to ensure consistency of data management, reporting and analyses across the business and apply a single version of the truth to deliver consistent and accurate messages and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Data Democratisation and Education: Promote the use of automated reporting tools, offering support, advice and training where needed, and make recommendations on updating and optimising existing reports as well as building new features and functionalities into new reports. Share knowledge, ideas and best practices with the rest of the CBIA team.
  • Collaboration with the Knowledge Centre lead: Ensure optimal management of the offshore team based in India, overseeing right scope of work, prioritisation and quality of deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Significant experience in market data management, business intelligence or market data analysis within a global organisation, ideally in the FMCG or Healthcare sector.
  • Proven track record of driving transformation in Business Intelligence and delivering data integration, harmonisation and data visualisation projects using tools such as PowerBI.
  • Deep understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks and familiarity with modern data technologies and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex global integration projects, strong problem solving skills and the ability to adapt and find innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, skilled in collaborating within fast paced, matrixed organisations, building effective relationships and influencing decision makers across diverse geographies and functions.
