Investment Effectiveness Programme Manager – Overview

Reporting directly to the Global Investment Effectiveness Director, this role manages and continuously innovates the Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) programme within the Consumer & Business Insights & Analytics (CBIA) organisation. The programme is a centralised, global workstream that leverages data infrastructure, standardised processes and advanced modelling to deliver performance analysis and optimisation insights for investment effectiveness.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supports the end‑to‑end set‑up and delivery of each quarterly MSS cycle, including initial engagement, kick‑off, data requirement alignment, deadline management and coordination with modelling vendors and offshore teams.
  • Supports continuous improvement and core programme development, organising and leading end‑of‑cycle reviews, collaborating with Data & Tech teams on data automation and new data product development, and testing new variables/approaches in modelling.
  • Drives effectiveness via MMM insights and value‑added deliveries, collaborating with local and global stakeholders on key questions, leveraging MMM output for annual cross‑market and brand meta‑analyses, and delivering quarterly reports and newsletter updates.
  • Drives MMM uptake and usage through structured capability and training initiatives, supporting OU and other teams with targeted training on MMM fundamentals, results, output and tool usage, and facilitating cross‑functional learning and knowledge transfer.
  • Partners with Data & Technology and Global Marketing Excellence teams, as well as with OU and Category teams, to ensure the impact and actionability of results.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience applying an analytical approach to answering business questions and providing actionable recommendations, preferably within MMM.
  • In‑depth knowledge of analytical practices and methodologies within the Consumer Goods Industry (FMCG/Consumer Healthcare).
  • Hands‑on knowledge and understanding of syndicated data measures and attributes across diverse data landscapes, coupled with demonstrable experience in business intelligence and analysis.
  • Proven ability to work under tight timelines, prioritise among multiple projects, and demonstrate strong coordination and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with syndicated data providers (e.g., Nielsen, Circana, IQVIA) or other vendors for MMM, price and promo studies.
