Halecroft Recruitment is delighted to support our client, a well-established business based in Trafford Park, in recruiting an R&D Chemist to join their specialist technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced laboratory-based Chemist to work across product development, innovation, performance testing, and technical support within a Lubricant Performance Additives environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and test development samples.
- Conduct product performance evaluations and testing.
- Support R&D and innovation projects.
- Respond to technical service requests and customer queries.
- Prepare and dispatch samples to customers and other facilities.
- Support the day-to-day running of the laboratory.
- Manage laboratory consumables, reagents, and safety equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and test data. About You
- Degree in Chemistry or relevant scientific discipline preferred.
- A Levels in Chemistry and Maths as a minimum.
- Substantial laboratory experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of the lubricants industry would be advantageous.
