Are you passionate about events and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We’re seeking an experienced Events Administrator with excellent IT and communication skills to join our client s dynamic team in the heart of Manchester City Centre.
As an Events Administrator, you’ll be responsible for providing crucial administrative support to the events team, assisting with the coordination and execution of various events, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside Event Managers, contribute to the success of multiple events, and further develop your skills in event coordination and administration.
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum, commensurate with experience:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the events team
- Assisting Event Managers in orchestrating multiple large-scale events simultaneously
- Actively participating in event execution and aiding the events team with venue setups
- Ensuring the upkeep of office equipment and managing supplies when necessary
- Coordinating the delivery and retrieval of supplies and event materials
- Taking ownership of critical tasks for upcoming events
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth operation
- Demonstrating the ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and deliver exceptional results
- Providing opportunities for career advancement and professional development within the company
- Assisting the business PA with general office duties, including administrative tasks, professional phone etiquette, email correspondence
Additional Information:
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (some weekend work will be required)
- Benefits: 20 days of holiday entitlement plus bank holidays
- Driving Licence and Own Transport will be a prerequisite
