Plumbmaster is a specialist division of Haldane Fisher, supplying high-quality plumbing and heating materials to the construction industry across Northern Ireland. We are known for our technical expertise, dependable service, and strong relationships with trade customers. We are currently recruiting a Counter Sales Advisor to join our Lisburn Plumbmaster branch. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career within a successful and growing specialist merchant, offering a stable working environment and strong development and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service at the trade counter
  • Advise customers on plumbing and heating materials and product solutions
  • Process sales transactions accurately using tills and internal systems
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised branch environment
  • Support stock control, merchandising, and teamwork across the branch
  • Identify sales opportunities and support customers with technical product queries

About You

  • Strong communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers
  • Experience in a fast-paced customer service or trade counter environment
  • Good knowledge of plumbing materials and products (or the ability and willingness to develop this knowledge)
  • Proactive, reliable, and sales-minded with strong attention to detail
  • Forklift licence desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
