We are now looking for an Internal Sales Assistant to join our team, supporting and driving timber sales across the Manchester area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, building relationships, and developing their commercial skills in a supportive environment.
About the Role
As an Internal Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and helping the branch achieve its sales goals. You don’t need to be a timber expert already; we’re committed to supporting your learning and development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting trade customers by phone and email, answering queries and offering helpful, knowledgeable service
- Identifying customer needs and recommending suitable timber products and solutions
- Proactively following up enquiries and quotations to convert them into sales
