Yard Operative - Balmoral Join a Leading Timber & Builders' Merchant As part of our continued growth, we are seeking to recruit a Yard Operative to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that values its people and offers a stable role with consistent hours and a supportive working environment.

Location This role is based at our Balmoral Branch.

What you'll be doing No two days the same, and every day matters.

You'll be hands-on, safety-first and proud of the work you deliver.

In this role you'll load, pick, move and store materials safely and efficiently, providing helpful service to customers and drivers.

Your main duties will include: Load and unload vehicles safely.

Pick and prepare customer orders.

Operate FLT/equipment where licensed.

Maintain stock condition and housekeeping.

Assist customers and drivers in the yard.

What We're Looking For We'd love to hear from you if you have/are: Physically capable, reliable worker.

Safety awareness.

Helpful, customer-focused manner.

Able to meet the health & safety, legislative and competency prerequisites for the role, including any required licences, tickets, training and Opus SMS responsibilities.

A genuine pride in your work, and a way of working that reflects a can do attitude. * FLT licence. (Desirable but not Essential, we support eligible colleagues in the journey of training and accredited qualifications) * Builders' merchant experience.
