We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Professional to join our finance team in Newry. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the financial operations of a growing and dynamic business within the Haldane Group. This role is offered on a fixed-term contract for an initial period of 6 months, with a view to becoming permanent.

The Role

Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting across the business. You will work closely with internal departments to maintain strong financial controls and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day accounting processes including ledgers, reconciliations, and journals
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Monitoring cash flow and processing payments
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company procedures
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to support operational and commercial decision-making
