Yard Operative - Newry (multiple positions available) We're looking for a Yard Operative to join us.
In this role you'll load, pick, move and store materials safely and efficiently, providing helpful service to customers and drivers.
You'll be hands-on, safety-first and proud of the work you deliver.
Most of all, it's a role where what you do really matters - every day you'll help our customers build with confidence.
What you'll be doing Load and unload vehicles safely.
Pick and prepare customer orders.
Operate FLT/equipment where licensed.
Maintain stock condition and housekeeping.
Assist customers and drivers in the yard.
Adhering to all Health and Safety procedures at all times What you'll bring We'd love to hear from you if you have: A keen interest in timber and building materials.
Safety awareness.
A helpful, customer-focused manner.
A team-player mindset, with a genuine pride in your work, and a way of working that reflects a positive "can-do" attitude.
A hardworking approach and willingness to learn Physically capable, reliable worker.
Forklift and/or Timber experience - preferred but not essential
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 16.30pm Fridays 7:30am - 15.30pm Saturdays (alternating) 8am-12.30pm.
