Haldane Fisher is one of Northern Ireland's leading builders merchants, proudly supplying the construction industry through a network of specialist branches. We are currently seeking a Category C Driver to join our team based in Lisburn. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, hands-on, and dependable, with a strong focus on customer service and safe driving practices.
What You'll Do
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries to customer sites in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all loads are delivered safely and securely
- Operate vehicles responsibly, adhering to all road safety and company procedures
- Provide a courteous and professional service when dealing with customers
- Support the branch team as required, maintaining a positive and flexible approach
What You Need (Essential)
- Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence
- Minimum of two years' commercial lorry driving experience
- Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland, particularly the Lisburn and surrounding areas
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
- Proactive with a positive, "can-do" approach
Desirable
- HIAB licence (not essential as training can be provided)
