We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our team in Newry. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a growing and dynamic business in the Haldane Group, supporting the effective management and analysis of rebate-related financial data.

The Role

Reporting to the Rebates and Stock Controller, you will be responsible for the accurate reconciliation and analysis of rebate activity across the business. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data integrity, resolve discrepancies, and provide meaningful insights that support operational and commercial decision-making, while contributing to ongoing process improvements within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconciliation of rebate earnings, accruals, and receipts, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve complex discrepancies across multiple data sources
  • Accurate rebate documentation and reporting
  • Conduct analysis of rebate performance, trends, and variances
  • Maintain and validate rebate data, ensuring integrity across systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and system usage
  • Liaising with stakeholders to support operational and commercial decision-making

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a clear ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s etc.)
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
