We wish to recruit a results-driven Assistant Branch Manager for our Heckmondwike branch. This role is suitable for an ambitious and determined individual who wants to progress their career to the next stage.
Responsibilities- Play an active role in daily trading – engaging with customers, supporting field reps, and helping the Branch achieve its targets.
- Connect with customers and suppliers, understand their needs, and deliver the right solutions with confidence.
- Work closely with internal and external sales teams to maximise opportunities and protect margin.
- Be a visible, encouraging presence – sharing knowledge and helping the team stay focused on shared goals.
- Support dispatch to fulfil orders accurately and help maintain a safe, tidy and welcoming Branch environment.
- Stay informed, share ideas, and help us trade smarter each day.
- Can motivate a team and will lead by example.
- Has well-developed people management skills.
