Halcyon Care North West is excited to announce our partnership with CC Housing Management Ltd, a dedicated local housing and management company in Preston. We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Housing and Wellbeing Officer to join our team!

Location: Preston

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM)

Salary: £24,000 (effective from 1st April)

Parking: Onsite available

About the Role:

As a Housing and Wellbeing Officer, your primary goal will be to support our mission of reducing homelessness and empowering individuals at risk. You will play a pivotal role within a small team as we navigate an exciting period of growth and change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess individual support needs and develop tailored Housing settlement and support plans.
  • Provide comprehensive support to clients, encouraging them to achieve independent living and engage positively within the community.
  • Conduct risk assessments and keep documentation updated to reflect clients’ evolving needs.
  • Foster relationships with local neighbours to aid client integration into the community.
  • Manage tenancy-related issues, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Support clients preparing for independence, including assistance with the moving process and resettlement.
  • Liaise with other housing and support services and provide necessary referrals and resources.
  • Assist in the operational management of the service, ensuring optimal capacity and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare reports and quality assurance data, contributing to the continuous improvement of services offered.
