About Us:
Halcyon is thrilled to partner exclusively with a reputable family-owned care provider dedicated to supporting individuals with learning disabilities. We are embarking on an exciting journey as we launch a new children\’s home service in Bolton, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join our team. Our organization prides itself on delivering high-quality care through innovative approaches, ensuring that every child receives the individualized support they need to thrive.

The Role:
As the Team Leader at our new children\’s home, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the care and support of children with emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD). You will bring your expertise in OFSTED regulation and demonstrate your ability to manage and lead a team effectively. Your responsibilities will include:

* Leading a dedicated team of support workers, providing guidance and supervision to maintain high standards of care.

* Developing and adapting individual care plans that address the unique needs of each child, fostering an environment of hope and growth.

* Collaborating closely with the management team to ensure compliance with OFSTED standards and exceptional service delivery.

* Managing rota schedules and handling challenging situations with calmness and professionalism.

* Ensuring the emotional and physical safety of the children in our care while creating a nurturing and supportive atmosphere.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a children\’s residential setting, specifically with EBD.

* Strong understanding of OFSTED regulations and quality assurance in care services.

* Proven skills in managing challenging behaviors and providing developmental support.

* Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and lead by example.

What We Offer:
In return for your dedication, you will receive an annual salary ranging from £27,300 to £30,000, dependent on your experience. You will also benefit from a comprehensive induction program, including introductions to the team and management support.
