Halcyon are excited to be partnering with a leading provider of Residential homes for Children, in the search for their new Registered Manager. This medium sized organisation have a few homes throughout Blackpool with the intention of opening up another in the near future. A forward-thinking Children’s provider, the organisation caters for young people with EBD, PTSD, Attachment and other complex needs. They offer children and young people the mix of independence and high level support they need to flourish and grow into young, confirdent adults. This Registered Managers role is ideal for someone who is looking to work with a smaller provider who do everything for the children rather than their bottom line. There is definitely a family feel to the service for both the children and the staff. The organisation offer numerous support packages for their team, including: accommodation paid for through COVID; on going development and support; support to achieve NVQ level 3 / 5 qualifications; and much more. You will be required to have the following to be considered; * Level 5 in Leadership and management, or be open to working toward it * Have at least 2-3 years of children’s residential experience at a Deputy manager level * Ofsted knowledge is essential This role could be perfect for a strong deputy looking for a step up into a Registered manager role, or an experienced Registered manager looking for complete autonomy. The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate a true passion for caring for children and not just treat the post as a job etc. You will be working closely with the business owner, so the ability to make change happen with the home is very real and quick, rather than just working through a larger organisation.
