Racecourse Customer Service Assistant

We are looking for reliable team members to join our Betting team at Doncaster Racecourse March – December. You would be working in the restaurants, lounges and public areas of the racecourse, servicing customers who would like to bet with us.

Who are we looking for?

• Applicants 18+
• Drivers, as we need support at Doncaster and surrounding racecourses
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work with cash confidently/good mental arithmetic
• No prior experience needed as paid training is provided

What does the role entail?

• You will place the customers bet/s on the till on live race days at the racecourse
• Pay out winnings to customers who present you with a winning ticket
• Cash handling effectively
• Confident talking to customers and providing a friendly service

Salary

• £11.75 per hour + holiday pay 13.3% = £13.31
• Increased rate for Cheltenham Festival and other large fixtures
