About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a genuinely passionate team. We are looking for a full-time colleague who is able to work 1 in 3 Saturdays or less. We are closed all Sundays and Bank Holidays. The role will be based across both the Kings Lynn and Dersingham practices to give the variety of both areas. Your rota will be provided 6 weeks in advance to give you plenty of time to plan and there is free parking provided at both locations.
As an independent practice, you will be given longer testing times and the latest technology to help you provide a first-class clinical service to patients, including:
- Optomap
- OCT
- i-care tonometers
- 40-45 minutes testing times
You’ll be an integral part of our team here and will help us drive our service offering forward, always looking for opportunities to improve and innovate. We’re also looking for someone who shares our dedication to putting patients first and spending the time needed to get to the bottom of their visual needs.
Just as important to us is the way you interact with patients. Providing a friendly, informative, and empathetic service is a must. Ultimately, you must be an ambassador for our brand and profession within the local community. Educating others about the benefits of eye care is an ongoing challenge and one that we look forward to meeting head-on with you as a part of our team.
Our ideal candidate will be:
- Clinically minded and patient-focused, ideally with an interest in contact lenses
- Able to connect to patients of all ages
- A great team player, but also able to follow their own initiative and work autonomously
- Happy to have the challenge of more complex patients; we see many patients who are referred by local ophthalmologists, and/or have complex visual needs
