We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Optical Assistant to join our team at Eye Academy on a part-time basis (3 days per week, including some Saturdays).
Our practice is based in the historic and vibrant town of Windsor, home to Windsor Castle, a thriving town centre, and beautiful riverside views. With excellent transport links to London and surrounding areas, Windsor offers the perfect balance of heritage charm and modern convenience—making it a fantastic location to live and work.
About Eye Academy
Eye Academy is an established, independent group of practices known for its expert clinical care and high-end eyewear collections. Our Eyecare Academy practice in Windsor offers a unique experience, combining:
Comprehensive personalised eye care
The latest diagnostic technology including: Nikon dispensing system, spectralis 4D, and Optos

About You
You are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and patient care, with at least 2 years’ experience in an optical setting. You’re a team player with a proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with patient enquiries and reception duties
Pre-screening and clinical support
Frame styling and dispensing
General administrative support
Includes some Saturday working
