About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Mobile Optical Assistant to join us in delivering outstanding patient care in 3 of our practices in Essex. You’ll play a key role in providing expert advice, sharing knowledge on frames and fittings, and delivering ongoing care that makes patients feel confident, comfortable, and cared for.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Optical Assistant who enjoys variety, with the chance to get involved in a wide range of tasks – as much as you’d like to.
Additional Information:
- This role is ideal for someone with previous experience working in optics.
- You will be working across 3 of our practices: Aves Optometrists in Epping, Bird&Fairley in Dunmow, and James Bryan Opticians in Chelmsford, all under the same Director.
- This role requires you to work 5 days a week including Saturdays.
- Our appointment times are 40 minutes.
What you will be doing:
- Support with pre-screening and be the first point of contact when a patient enters the practice.
- Frame selection, lens choices and dispensing.
- Adjustments and aftercare.
- Reporting and data support.
- Social media and promotional activities.
