The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer to join a growing team covering the South and South West of England.
The successful Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive service and maintenance work across a range of commercial air conditioning systems.
This is a varied field-based role, working across customer sites throughout the South and South West. The majority of work will be completed within a standard 40-hour week, although there will be some requirement to stay away from home when working on a particular contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair commercial air conditioning systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
- Carry out system checks and identify potential issues
- Work safely and in accordance with relevant industry standards
- Maintain good customer relationships while working on site
- Travel throughout the South and South West of England
- Occasionally stay away from home when required for specific contracts
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer
- Strong commercial air conditioning service and maintenance experience
- Good knowledge of air conditioning systems and associated controls
- Ability to fault-find and diagnose issues effectively
- F-Gas qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Good customer-facing and communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Willingness to travel throughout the South and South West
- Flexibility to stay away from home when required

- Split systems
- Multi-split systems
- VRV / VRF systems
- AHUs
- FCUs
- Heat pumps
- Commercial HVAC systems
- Electrical and controls fault-finding
