About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Static Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team, working on a prestigious commercial site in Central London. This is a static position, meaning you will be based at a single location, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and minor remedial works across a range of fire and security systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and technically competent engineer looking for a stable role within a professional and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire and security systems.
- Service, fault-find and repair fire alarm systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, intruder alarm and emergency lighting systems.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and system faults.
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
- Liaise with site management and clients to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant industry standards and health & safety regulations.
- Identify opportunities for remedial works and system improvements.
Systems Experience
- Experience with some or all of the following would be advantageous:
- Fire Alarm Systems (Gent, Advanced, Morley, Notifier, Kentec, etc.)
- CCTV Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Intruder Alarm Systems
- Emergency Lighting
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Fire & Security Service Engineer.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of BS5839 and relevant fire and security regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential for a static role.
