About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Static Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team, working on a prestigious commercial site in Central London. This is a static position, meaning you will be based at a single location, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and minor remedial works across a range of fire and security systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and technically competent engineer looking for a stable role within a professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire and security systems.
  • Service, fault-find and repair fire alarm systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, intruder alarm and emergency lighting systems.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests and system faults.
  • Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
  • Liaise with site management and clients to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant industry standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for remedial works and system improvements.

Systems Experience

  • Experience with some or all of the following would be advantageous:
  • Fire Alarm Systems (Gent, Advanced, Morley, Notifier, Kentec, etc.)
  • CCTV Systems
  • Access Control Systems
  • Intruder Alarm Systems
  • Emergency Lighting

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Fire & Security Service Engineer.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Good understanding of BS5839 and relevant fire and security regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential for a static role.
